Using DPM Prep

These terms apply to your use of DPM Prep at dpmprep.com. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

You must be able to enter into an agreement under the laws that apply to you. DPM Prep is designed for podiatric medical education.

Educational purpose, not medical advice

For learning, not patient care.

DPM Prep content, practice explanations, anatomy models, and AI responses are study aids. They are not medical advice, a diagnosis, or treatment recommendations.

Use your official coursework, current clinical references, and qualified instructors to verify important information. Do not rely on the platform to make patient-care decisions or manage emergencies.

Practice questions, scores, timers, and readiness summaries do not predict or guarantee an exam result, course grade, certification, or licensure. DPM Prep is an independent study resource; references to APMLE or an institution do not imply endorsement or official affiliation.

Your account and responsibility

Provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. Use your own account, do not impersonate another person, and do not share access in a way that compromises security or another student’s records.

Contact support@dpmprep.com if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Some preferences and anatomy progress are device-local; other study records are account-linked. Clearing browser storage can remove local records. Do not rely on the service as the only copy of information you need to keep.

Acceptable use

Use DPM Prep for lawful study and respectful participation. Do not:

  • Harass other users, impersonate others, or misuse live games or reports.
  • Attempt to access another account, private records, or restricted areas of the platform.
  • Disrupt the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, or automate activity in a way that harms the platform.
  • Use the platform to violate academic integrity rules or distribute confidential examination material.
  • Upload identifiable patient information, private information about others, or material you have no right to share.
  • Copy, scrape, republish, or sell protected content without permission or another lawful basis.

Content, ownership, and reports

DPM Prep’s branding and original materials belong to DPM Prep or their respective rights holders. Subject to these terms, you may access the available materials for your personal educational use. This does not transfer ownership or grant a right to redistribute them.

Third-party diagrams, models, source materials, and trademarks retain their own ownership and license conditions. Preserve attributions and follow any applicable third-party terms.

If you submit a question flag or support message, provide only material you are entitled to share. We may use the information to investigate the issue, respond to you, and improve the relevant content. To report a rights concern, email us with the material’s location and an explanation.

AI tutor and third-party services

The AI tutor can produce incomplete, outdated, or incorrect answers. Review its responses critically and verify them against reliable sources. Do not enter sensitive personal or patient information.

Optional sign-in providers, external links, and embedded anatomy viewers are operated by third parties. Their availability and practices are outside our direct control, and their own terms and privacy policies apply. A linked source does not constitute an endorsement.

Availability and account access

Content and features may be added, corrected, restricted, or removed as coursework develops. The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, technical failures, or third-party outages. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every feature will work on every device.

To protect students and the platform, we may sign an account out, temporarily restrict study access, ban an account, or remove it for misuse, security concerns, or violations of these terms. If you believe a restriction is a mistake, contact support for review.

You can stop using the service at any time and contact us to request account deletion. Historical records and deletion limitations are described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and limitations

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DPM Prep is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties about accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, availability, or outcomes. We aim to correct reported problems but cannot guarantee that all material is error-free.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, DPM Prep is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections.

Changes to these terms and contact

We may update these terms when the service changes. The date at the top identifies the current version, and material changes will be communicated as appropriate. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
